Alexander Sergeyevich Griboyedov (Russian: Александр Сергеевич Грибоедов) was a Russian diplomat, playwright, poet, and composer. Born on January 15, 1795 in Moscow, he considered literature to be his life's main vocation. From childhood, Griboyedov was fortunate with his tutors - his governeurs were talented and renowned individuals.
