Boney, aged seventy-eight years, died at his home in Tallulah on the afternoon of Monday, February 22, 1937, as the result of a paralytic stroke. He was born on October 19, 1859, on the "Bankwood" Plantation in Madison Parish, and was the oldest born son of this parish.
