George F. Craven

George Frederick Craven was born in Melbourne, Australia, on March 18, 1918. He attended Melbourne Technical College, Australia. During World War II he was employed by Radio Corporation, Australia, on military equipment. In 1944 he joined the Department of Civil Aviation and was in charge of their Communications Laboratory until 1949.
