Eric Doitch

Eric Doitch was born in Vienna on May 17th 1923, under the name Siegfried Steiner, son of Golda Steiner and Edmund Deutsch. He was expelled under the Nazis in 1939 and arrived in this country at the outbreak of the Second World War. Interned by the British Government on the Isle of Man he eventually managed to get to art school, training at Camberwell School of Art and the Royal College.
