Fielding Dawson

Guy Fielding Lewis Dawson was born in 1930 in New York City. He grew up in Kirkwood, Missouri, attended Black Mountain College from 1949-1953, served in the United States Army from 1953-1955, and lived in lower Manhattan, in the same loft in the Union Square-Gramercy neighbourhood for 38 years, the last 25 being spent with his wife, Susan Maldovan, a free-lance editor.
