Jack Batten

Jack Batten was born in Montreal, Quebec. He graduated from the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School and practised law from 1959 to 1963, when he left law to become a full-time magazine writer. He has worked for Maclean’s Magazine and the Star Weekly, and written for other magazines including Chatelaine, Rolling Stone, and Toronto Life.
