LLyn De Danaan’s articles on Western Washington ethnography and history include a chapter in University of Washington’s Vashon Island Archaeology, “Katie Gale’s Tombstone: The Work of Researching a Life” in the Oregon Historical Quarterly, winter 2005, and “Tideland Tales: Drama and Death on Late 19th Century Oyster Bay,” Columbia Magazine, fall 2000.
