Jonathan Fay Barrett

"Fay" as we call him and was called during his lifetime, was born 28 Jan, 1816, (not 1817). He was the first son of Joseph Barrett and Sophia Fay, of Concord, MA. Jonathan Fay Barrett was named after his grandfather Jonathan Fay. From a family of farmers in Concord, Fay became a lawyer, the only one of his siblings to veer away from the soil.
