Patrick Mader

Patrick "Packy" Mader is an elementary teacher and children's picture book author. He writes intergenerational stories with positive messages that celebrate rural lifestyles. His first two books, Opa & Oma (German words for Grandpa and Grandma) Together and Oma Finds a Miracle have been well-received by audiences in the Upper Midwest. Packy and his wife, Karen, and their two children enjoy traveling, biking, cross country skiing, reading, and learning about the world.
