Fredrick Schrock wrote The Amish Christian Church--Its History an Legacy. It is a story that spans over a century, about a group that left the Amish Church in 1896 and gradually became "modern." Then in 1952 they abruptly put away their modern conveniences and adopted the primitive life of the Old Order Mennonites. The first edition was published in 2001, the second, with some revision, in 2002.
