Mildred McElhinney Friedman

Mildred McElhinney Friedman earned her BA from Elmira College in 1931 and MS from Syracuse University in 1932 majoring in English. She later earned her doctorate in Education from University of Florida in 1964. She continued in a distinguished career as an English teacher specializing in teaching English as a second languague, and diagnosing and teaching persons with reading disabilities.
