Sverre Hov

He was the son of teacher Lauritz F Hov, born in Gausdal, Norway; his mother was Agnethe (b Nermo of Øyer). He studied theology at the University of Oslo 1925-32 (did a lot of his studies at home in Gausdal; the family economy wouldn't allow for his staying in Oslo during prolonged periods).
