Louisa H. Medina

Louisa Honor Medina worked as in-house playwright for the Bowery Theatre, New York, during the 1830s, specializing in dramatizing recent popular novels into melodrama. Three titles of her larger oevre survive: "Nick of the Woods," "The Last Days of Pompeii," and "Ernest Maltravers."
